GENERATION OF VACUUM AND BLAST AIR
PRINTING PAPER PROCESSING B+K DRUCK, OTTERWEIER
Noise pollution and waste heat in production are to be reduced: Paper is conveyed in folding machines by blowing and sucking air generated with the aid of electrically driven blower pumps. These pumps generate high noise levels and process heat that is difficult to harness.
We have therefore replaced all blower pumps with our suction and blowing air system; noise and heat from the pumps have thus been completely eliminated. Our systems are operated with compressed air, which is generated separately in a technical room. The waste heat from the compressed air compressor is recovered at this point and fed into the heating system.
Technical data
- Total waste heat 40 kW
- 14 folding machines
- Noise reduction of up to 10 dB(A)
Result
Better working climate due to reduction of waste heat and noise pollution
