Waste heat from compressed air compressors is to be efficiently recovered: The company uses four air compressors to generate the compressed air for steel production. All the waste heat from these compressors has so far been released into the environment. We installed a system that recovers 70% of the electrical energy and integrates it into the existing heating system. The waste heat temperature is 70-80 °C and the average waste heat quantity is 70 kW.
